Second Crossing Roadlink

 

The second link to Malaysia after the Woodlands Causeway, this bridge was built by Sumitomo Construction Co., Ltd. for the Public Works Department at a cost of  S$52 million, as an alternative route for road traffic to and from Malaysia.

Completed early 1998, an approximate area of 11,000 square metres of concrete,  including pilecaps, dolphins and capping beams were treated with Dry-Treat BHN  IBTEO silane for protection against chloride ion ingress.
